New Stage Collective is proud to announce a brand new series that will debut as the third full production of our Summer 2005 Season. The New Directors Workshop Series is designed to give new directors a chance to spread their wings by presenting a regional premiere workshop-style production. In accordance with NSC's mission, this series is designed to present works that showcase the pre-professional actor.
This year's production showcases the work of four directors, featuring short plays selected from the newly published, highly acclaimed collection of the hottest upcoming playwrights, The BackStage Book of New American Short Plays 2005: 20 New Plays, 20 Fresh New Voices , edited by award-winning playwright and screenwriter Craig Lucas (Prelude to a Kiss) .
